Does anyone know who the music composer will be?

Hmm, since this game uses a bunch of characters from previous games, I probably would've done what the movie did and used music from all the previous OSTs.

That would have been a smart move. Or at least remixed of past music. Well, I suppose it's possible that Licht is doing some remixes.

You know who would be an excellent idea to compose for a Silent Hill game? Angelo Badalamenti. He did an excellent job with Indigo Prophecy's soundtrack so he'd be a perfect fit for Silent Hill when it comes conveying emotion within music.

And another tidbit for the Silent Hill nerds: Angelo also scored several David Lynch works including Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive, and Lost Highway.

I've listened to some of Badalamenti's music. I don't think there's anything particular with it. I'm glad Dan Licht will compose BOM's soundtrack. I'm not interested in BOM but I'm looking foward to the soundtrack.

Daniel Licht and it's an all new soundtrack. (Mary E sings in the opening)

The soundtrack's incredible. It doesn't sound like Yamaoka, but then it's not supposed to. Licht perfectly set the tone for each of the game's unique worlds, bosses, and situations. It's my favorite soundtrack from any of the games I've worked on, and I still listen to it daily while working on subsequent projects.
