Re: cover art
I like it nice and simple without being to loud and showy and trying to hard, it works for me.

Re: cover art
It's... okay. Nothing special. Doesn't look like a SH cover too much, but it's not bad.

Re: cover art
Hey guys. I think that book is full of not good stuff. See, it has "DEATH" and "EVIL" on it and everything.
And the ugly hand things too, but yeah. I think that book isn't going to be a nice book to read.

Pretty awful cover, but whatever. We haven't had a good boxart since 3. : \

Re: cover art
Tbh none of the Silent Hill series box art was all that great to me but I liked them as I do this one.

Re: cover art
It's all right, I guess. I was expecting a lot worse to be honest.
Re: cover art
Not impressed at all. It's pretty 'meh'.

Re: cover art
I don't mind it.
It's kind of neat. It isn't really showy, but it isn't so subtle that it's bland.
I love the new text of "Silent Hill." I think Downpour is using it as well.

Re: cover art
Silent Hill Shattered Memories had pretty good box art. Especially the European version.
This cover does look pretty damn emo though. Like Homecoming's howlingly bad art. :/

You think so (re: Shattered Memories' cover)? I thought the US cover was kind of hokey, myself.Droo wrote:Silent Hill Shattered Memories had pretty good box art. Especially the European version.

Re: cover art
^Same, actually. I always thought it was just...kind of lame. I mean, it's like, "Oh, I see what you did there", but...still, pretty hokey.
The BoM cover isn't that appealing to me. It's just kind of plain. It's not horrible, but not fantastic, and it doesn't really phase me.

It's nothing special. But it could be worst.
Anyway this will probably be the first "Silent Hill" game that I won't buy.

Re: cover art
I'd get it for sure if I had a Vita.
I actually would love a Vita. It looks great. And as with everything, the Vita will get better & better as time goes on with updates, revisions, and price drops.
I just have other priorities...
Sorry Sony. Sorry BoM.

Re: cover art
It's rather meh. I do like the European cover of Downpour. I don't car for the monster being placed in on the left side, but the silhouette of Howard in the distance was excellent.

Heh, no not really. I was thinking of the 0-5 "canon" games. (plus SHSM)Droo wrote:You bought the Play Novel and the mobile games?Agent of God wrote:It's nothing special. But it could be worst.

Re: cover art
The book is fine, but those hands ruin the entire thing. I know they're going for a horror-esque look, but c'mon guys.
"Lowlifes... Shameless filthy wretches. How you celebrate my ascension with such joy. Hailing the very one you've condemned for generations. Have you no shame? What happened to the evil, ruthless sorceress from your fantasies? The cold-blooded tyrant that slaughtered countless men and destroyed many nations? Where is she now?"

Re: cover art
Well, it's the American cover. I think that answers everything...
