You're all crazy, she sounds amazing in this! I purchased the physical version of the soundtrack a couple of days ago, and Love Psalm is one of my favorite tracks. Besides, a little autotune and reverb every now and then aren't so bad, are they?
I only have one problem: these songs have the most boring titles in the history of the Silent Hill games. "The Blood Boss"; "Steel World"; "Quiet Before The Storm"; "Action In The Dark"--they're all so mundane and direct! If there's anything about Akira Yamaoka I miss, it's his memorable song titles.
Other than that, it sounds very melodic and industrial at the same time. Like The Social Network meets Parasite Eve. :3

I LOVE Love Psalm, but I just think her voice gets a little too buried at times. Just a few lines. I want to hear the non-vocal songs, too... By the way, official lyrics for Love Psalm: This isn't the life that I dreamed it could be I'm starin' into the eyes of the shell left of me
and now, every decision I make the good, the pleasure, and the pain could simply all be erased if I choose it to be
this nightmare unfolds like a rose awakes to the spring always so close to the sanity I'm trying to cling to
I'm tearin' out the pages 'cause it hurts to be forced to feel the hearts break how much of this torture can I take? is it not worth the risk to create just one more try I know that I can fix it
if you could rewrite our life any way that you please would you tear out the pages of our memories? would you take back the pain and all the hurt we create? or could you be satisfied with the love that you've made with me?
if you could rewrite our life any way that you please would you tear out the pages of our memories? would you take back the pain and all the hurt we create? or could you be satisfied with the promise you made?
so we rewrite our lives but it's not what we think in the chaos we dance as we stand on the brink always one change away from makin' ourselves complete the world will perish in flames and I'll watch as you fade from me
we write our love psalm rewrite our love psalm we write our love psalm rewrite our love psalm

I believe Troy Baker wrote them for Love Psalm.

I've listened to the whole soundtrack. It's pretty fun to listen to, it's catchy but it really doesn't sounds like SH music at all.
The piano songs are terrible however, they sound like bad remixes of Dexter piano songs. Dan Licht need to stay away from the Dexter style for Silent Hill.
But then again, it's not a really serious soundtrack. I'm sure Dan will deliver for the next real SH game.

Holy shit. I was really doubtful about this song, but it rocks my face off.
I do believe this is the first time we've had real drums in a Silent Hill song instead of synthesized, as well.

^Not only that, but it was performed by a live band in a session, it would appear. Y'know, as opposed to Akira Yamaoka just NIN-ing it like he usually does. It's the first I've ever heard of this band "Eyeshine." They sound pretty cool.

Is that the name of the band in the song? Where does it say that?
EDIT: Never mind. Confirmed on the band's web site.
OMG one of the guys in the band is Adam from Power Rangers?! Awesome.
