Finally saw this.

I've been here for 12 years(more if you consider the few years I spent lurking before signing up), and I consider this place like my online home. I've got nothing but good memories of this place and reading all of the theories over the years.

If this place goes, I'm seriously going to miss it. But for all of you guys still left, it was nice knowing you if only in the passing.

And Vixx, thanks for creating this place, and of course keeping it alive for as long as you have.

Wow this decade keeps sucking

It sure is! These are really a rarity now but this forum gives me nostalgia in more ways than one. Discussing an amazing series in a now old school way. The presentation of it all really ties together how special this board is along with how welcoming everyone has been.

I'm going to do my best to reach 20,000 posts this year, so please hold me accountable, everyone. (I mean, I already technically achieved that but then the Great Hack of Whenever ruined everything. But still, here I am, here we are, and we're going to make this work.)

Can't believe it's been 20 years+ with this series. I remember the day my best friend in high school told me about it. For weeks I watched him play the original, never wanting to play it myself, until I found a copy at my local shop, Game Guy. I was already obsessed before even playing the stupid thing. And here we are. Vying for over 20,000 posts on an Internet forum 20 years later.

Did we lose post counts as a result of the hack or just the posts themselves? I thought our post counts remained the same.

Post counts were lost, too, far as I remember. I was nearing 20k around that time I thought, and then lost some stupid amount. It was quite the reverse milestone.

Or I’ve had too much whiskey over the years and have no idea what reality is, let alone forum-reality.

Well, for me to catch up to you, I would have to post 63% more than I have in 17+ years.

I don't even want to think about trying to match that.

Yep, post counts went down. I remember people lamenting that and I remember mine going down some.

You both have sky-high post counts as far as I'm concerned.

That sounds kind of fun, but how shall we? Should we post in the Pet Peeves and Pissy Cheerios threads that you're letting us down by not posting enough?

I don't feel like doing the math at the moment, but if you calculate how many posts you need per month, I'll participate in the cracking of the whip if you slack.

I believe it'd be somewhere between 46 and 50 a month, depending on how much you consider this month over.

Guess I just have to go back to 2007-era self and post, like, 100 times a day.

If you want we can pretend we haven't all said everything there is to be said about these games and spend the next year roleplaying 2007. You can post theories and I'll take the role of someone who only played SH2 and saw the movie and constantly ask questions that imply I didn't even pay attention to either of them. We'll get your post count up in no time.
