Norman Reedus really wants Silent Hills to happen

Teases that there was some other cool stuff he did that we've not seen and is on board with doing something with Kojima & Del Toro.

Well if IGA can create a spiritual successor to Castlevania, then I can't see why Kojima etc can't make a spiritual successor to Silent Hill. In fact they would no longer be creatively fettered by the Silent Hill plot line. The setting could be in a town but the supernatural element of the game would likely not be a town itself but something else, should they go that route.

Honestly, I see them reuniting for a horror game down the road. I'm sure it'll get announced at next years E3, and it'll be a big F you to Konami. I'm eager for it to happen, just gotta wait till Kojima is no longer under contract, which should be pretty soon.

Well, as Donna Burke said regarding Kojima, "but all will soon be revealed!"

I hope that's a sign that he may be working with Kojima in the future, but it could be him showing his support for his friend. The idea of him working on a game for Kojima and his new company still isn't far fetched, though. I guess we will see in time.

Wow, so the possibility of a collaboration between the two (possibly three with Del Toro) is still there. I do hope that they do make a game together and that it lives up to the hype there was for Silent Hills after P.T. I'm honestly sick and tired of Konami, especially since they were so disrespectful to Kojima. I hope his company becomes successful and leaves Konami in the dust.

Kojima has confirmed that his next game won't involve Del Toro or Reedus or anyone else.

He does hope to do something with them someday in the future though, but it may be a very long while.

That's unfortunate. I obviously haven't been following the Kojima-Reedus-Del Toro relationship as close as I probably should, but I do hope that the three of them do work together in the future. Also, that gif is wonderful. I wouldn't mind a very fantasy-esque horror game that's reminiscent of Pan's Labyrinth.
