help !~ (heather/sexy beam)

hi guys, i need some help~ right now im on my second playthrough trying to get 333 kills so i can unlock the heather beam. now i started playing on hard both on action and riddle and killed every enemy in sight so far but somehow i find it very difficult so im planning to start on normal again my question is if i overwrite the save file will my kill count be erased or will the kill counts i had in hard mode be added to the new one when i start again on normal ? TT_TT ts very confusing please help me!

I don't think they compound on top of eachother, but I could be wrong.

they don't. the number of enemies you kill is never reset, it just goes up, so long as you save.

just be careful because the beam actually weakens heather in hard mode

I am not sure but I think the enemy kill number resets after each game. I suggest you get the unlimited machine gun and go to town. Kill everything that comes to you and if it runs away, chance the SOB down and kill it.
The you should have the beam when you start the next game. You'll know you have it. There will be something funny about Heather's head.

And remeber you can only acsess it when you don't have any other weapons enabled.
