Silent Hill 1: Final Boss
Yes, well, after finally playing through the game, I finally got to the final boss, or at least one of them. You know, the one where it looks like Alessa is glowing, and she burns Dahlia to death? Yeah, that one. Well, I'm stuck. I don't have the hunting rifle, and I only have one health kit. Is there any way to dodge the lightning attacks?

Keep running, but not in a straight line. Circles. Just keep running and circling and you should dodge them, then attack when the barage is over.Video Gamer wrote:Yes, well, after finally playing through the game, I finally got to the final boss, or at least one of them. i dont know if this work with alessa, but works with samael, if you reach to the final battle without bullets, the final boss just gonna die, cuz the only way to kill him its with guns.thats a trick to make it easy

i thought the lightning bolts were undodgable. well, anyway, you can just bring up the inventory screen right as the lightning hits harry, and it will either not hurt him or only do some damage.
you could also empty out all your ammo and the boss will die on its own, pretty quick into the fight.

Huh. That's cool. Thanks for the help guys.Calamity wrote:Larcont already explained that. They coded the final boss to die if you used up all your ammo before entering that room, since the only way to deal damage is to shoot either one.
I just finished the game, and got the bad ending. What affects the endings, anyway?

And deep in me
Your illusion
What you see in me

You get the blue gem after beating the game with a Good+ Ending (Save Kaufman AND Cybil).crucifix wrote:i thought the blue gem was only in SH2?
After that, in your "new fear" game, its located in a convienient store (at the back or on counter)
Silent Hill 1 and 2 have blue gems to activate the UFO endings

Hate to bump this old thread, but I'm glad I found it. I really wanted to know how to get the UFO ending.

^You shouldn't have bumped it, Talolili. Even if you're glad you found it, it's pointless to the point of the topic, which is considered spam. If you wanted to know how to get the UFO ending, a simple search could have been done through Google. You'd find your answer in a matter of seconds.

Mate, why the bloody hell would you post here if you can simple go into the SH Wiki and check all the ways to reach UFO Ending in all games?Talolili wrote:Hate to bump this old thread, but I'm glad I found it. I really wanted to know how to get the UFO ending.

I'm glad it was bumped just to comment that you not only have to save Kaufman but give him the red mystery liquid from the motorcycle. I mean, of course people can look on Google, but then why even have this section?
