Restoring power to the hotel in Homecoming.

Right when you first get to Silent Hill and you have to restore power to the hotel. I figured it out today, but I couldn't find any clues to help me and I just randomly found the solution. Just seemed that you kinda had to be lucky to get it. Plus, those damn things outside the hotel that glow and spit stuff at you.

Yea I didn't find anything that hinted towards solution. I don't know if it is random or not either I just remember alot of cuss words involved on my part.

Yeah, those rewiring puzzles suck. I haven't heard if it's random or not though.

These puzzles don't have hints from what i know. They're mostly trial and error.

The hotel puzzle has a hint (XXI, the memo right behind you). As for the prison wire puzzle, I haven't heard if there was a clue for that or not

I liked to see those puzzles as a big game of mastermind. Figure out one wire, move on to the next, test it after each one.
