It's late I want to go to sleep but can't find the first save point after you reach Alex's house. Please help me, I don't wanna go runnin around blindly in search of one and end up dead....lol. Thanks.

I think the 1st one is in the cemetery srry that's a bit of things 2 do 1st

The first one was actually at the townhall, but glad you've found the one in the cemetry. :D

speaking of save points, I believe this is the only SH to not have a "jumbo" one right before the last battle.

Well, If you are the explorer type then yes the first would be in the Town Hall. But I usually go straight to my objective(that being Alex's house) and from there it's off to the Cemetery where the first save point is. But I sure wish I new about the one at the Town Hall so I could have stopped playing an hour before I did....lol.

Yeah, Homecoming doesn't have many save points. Homecoming can be a bit confusing at times. Some of the save points should have around 30 minutes of gameplay before reaching a new one. If you know what you are doing of course.
Speaking of which, I remember how I got so surprised when I cut several hours off my gameplay on all the Silent Hill games on subsequent playthroughs. I think I cut like 5 hours off Origins. I was like, what the hell did I waste all this time on, in the first playthroughs.
