SH:H Final Boss.

I can't belive I'm coming back for help again....

Whats the best way to beat the final boss?
I seem to die every time I try.. 5 times now.

Any help would be great thanks.

EDIT: AHH. no. i beat it on my 7th try. never mind. delete this? or lock it?

I had saved up allot of ammo by then so I just unloaded on it with my shotgun and it killed it and it died

Most frustrating boss ever. I had to beat it with 9 rifle shells, half a bar of health, and the combat knife.

i agree, despite it's weakness. he swings it faster and dodges faster. it hinders alex in no way

I rifled it till her second form, and then just dodged and knifed until death. Seems the dodges don't like to dodge 75% of the time though.. it looks like you make it and yet she still levels you.

Your going to have to dodge the attacks like crazy.

For me, I usually have ammunition for the pistol, shotgun, and rifle, and that makes the battle that much easier.

Well the thing is that i never found that sac/box with all my stuff in it...sooo...yeah

Then you have two options;

1) Dodge like there is no tomorrow.

2) Start over, and this time be more vigilant with your supplies.

I found it easy to "not" lock onto the boss (the dodging is easier to pull off), then wait for it to get its two front legs jammed, THEN I unloaded on it with a Pulaski ax combo and rolled away when it went to grab me. The best way to fight it is to be patient, run in, get a few hits, then get away, rinse and repeat. If you've ammo left over, just unload on the damned thing until you can provoke it into the stuck leg attack during its second phase.

I just unloaded all my spare ammo to pass the first phase. After that, just stay a short distance away from her and stand on the center platform-with the mesh floor. If she vomits, run back. Also, stay out of combat stance unless your actively hitting her. When she rears her front broken legs back, get out of the way...they'll get stuck in the mesh floor.

Now just run up to one of her sides and unleash a fast 4 hit combo with the Ceremonial Dagger. I was able to stay on her and keep doing the combo without retaliation until she died.

Anyone else notice her first form has some of the same attacks as the needler?
