SH3 PC - Extra Options & Extra New Game disappeared

I unlocked them last night and tested them briefly before quitting the game, because I was going to wait until today to replay it...

Loaded up the game and they have disappeared on me. I still have my "Results" save from the last play through, but it does not re-enable them.

Is there some way I can get them back?

I figured out what it is... Vista's control over the Program Files was preventing Silent Hill 3 from saving its System Data.

I'll have to reunlock them... but I did manage to find a save of Extra New Game.

Double posting is a no no You make the Mod's of Olympus sad.
But anyways, this happens to me on the PS2 version too, it's basically saying "Fuck you lolz, you didn't save after starting a new game! You must now burn in hell" You may think I'm kidding, but I'm not. So therefore I must go back and load up my last save, and beat the end again

Sorry, I mostly did it in case anyone who searches for something like this can find a clear answer.

But the game was also giving me a 'couldn't save system data' message, so then I thought and remembered Vista locks Program Files folders to prevent creation of files and stuff and its annoying.

h yes, I think I remember that problem too back when I had Vista. That OS is all downhill

How do you unlock them? Cuz I was having a problem like this on another game
