I think you're referring to the Pickaxe of Despair

When you go to the Forest World for the second time, it's in the coal mine area.

But it's damn slow, don't try to use it against fast monsters. Like Walter or ghosts, it sucks.

You are right but I enjoy trying to time it right and it kills anything (usually) on the first hit.

I think it's perfect for the final boss fight.

The axe is the best of them all. It has a sweet charge attack.
But the pickaxe of despair is the best weapon for a quick victory in the final boss fight.

Yep. Golf Clubs suck. They brake and you can't use them again, just don't bother about getting'em... Leave'em on the floor, all of'em suck.

I agree with Travis the Axe is the best way to go. It is powerful, not as powerful as the Pickaxe of Despair, but it is also not as slow. BUT use the Pickaxe for the final boss fight as it does not take very many normal hits with it to take down Walter.

That spade is good, man... just check the descriptions of the weapons and you'll see if they're good or bad. The descriptions are in the game and are shown after you get a weapon.

That spade is a bit slower than the bat or the axe, but has good range and has a unique finishing move. So its up to you if you want speed over range or vice versa.

The axe is the way to go in my opinion. Good speed and power not to mention the badass charge-up attack.

On a side note, that Axe isn't the same one that Walter used to slash Miriam and Billy?
