I'm so lost. (Silent Hill 1)

I'm not sure exactly where I am...I just left a boat and I'm in the alternate Silent Hill. I'm not sure where to go next and for some reason I don't have a map. Any idea where I should go?

One way leads to the lighthouse.

If you've been there, go the other way.

I went back there for some reason and nothing happened when I got to the top so I'm guessing the other way? I think I went the other way before but it seemed like I was going nowhere

Go to the top of the lighthouse. After that leave the boat the way you came in, when yo uget back to sanford street i think you can look at your map again, theres gunna be an open gate almost straight across sanford street. That'll take ya back down to the sewers.
