Silent Hill 1: Final Boss

Post by Video Gamer »

Yes, well, after finally playing through the game, I finally got to the final boss, or at least one of them. You know, the one where it looks like Alessa is glowing, and she burns Dahlia to death? Yeah, that one. Well, I'm stuck. I don't have the hunting rifle, and I only have one health kit. Is there any way to dodge the lightning attacks?

Keep running, but not in a straight line. Circles. Just keep running and circling and you should dodge them, then attack when the barage is over.

i dont know if this work with alessa, but works with samael, if you reach to the final battle without bullets, the final boss just gonna die, cuz the only way to kill him its with guns.thats a trick to make it easy

i thought the lightning bolts were undodgable. well, anyway, you can just bring up the inventory screen right as the lightning hits harry, and it will either not hurt him or only do some damage.

you could also empty out all your ammo and the boss will die on its own, pretty quick into the fight.

The boss will die on it's own? How?

Larcont already explained that. They coded the final boss to die if you used up all your ammo before entering that room, since the only way to deal damage is to shoot either one.

Huh. That's cool. Thanks for the help guys.

I just finished the game, and got the bad ending. :P What affects the endings, anyway?

Um hear goes nothing:

Bad Ending:
You kill Cybil and don't save Kaufman

Bad Ending +:
You save Cybil but DO NOT save Kaufman

Good Ending:
You kill Cybil but SAVE Kaufman

Good Ending +:
You save both Cybil and Kaufman

UFO Ending:
Use the blue gem in the following areas
1. Roof of Midwich Elementary
2. Outside St. Alchemila Hospital (Right before you fight the moth Boss)
3. Outside Kaufman's motel room
4. Inside the Boat (after talking to Cybil)
5. On top of the Lighthouse (after Alessa Disapears)

Ambulance Ending:
No such thing

Lost Cybil Senario:
It was scrapped :(
She said her blood turns to ash
Burning eyes can't forgive you
Howling moon drives on
And deep in me
Your illusion
What you see in me

You get the blue gem after beating the game with a Good+ Ending (Save Kaufman AND Cybil).

After that, in your "new fear" game, its located in a convienient store (at the back or on counter)

Silent Hill 1 and 2 have blue gems to activate the UFO endings
She said her blood turns to ash

Hate to bump this old thread, but I'm glad I found it. I really wanted to know how to get the UFO ending.

^You shouldn't have bumped it, Talolili. Even if you're glad you found it, it's pointless to the point of the topic, which is considered spam. If you wanted to know how to get the UFO ending, a simple search could have been done through Google. You'd find your answer in a matter of seconds.

Mate, why the bloody hell would you post here if you can simple go into the SH Wiki and check all the ways to reach UFO Ending in all games?

I'm glad it was bumped just to comment that you not only have to save Kaufman but give him the red mystery liquid from the motorcycle. I mean, of course people can look on Google, but then why even have this section?
