I can actually agree very much with this. I am less paranoid being on here at work with the silver theme because of it's generic nature. That and I am a fan of silver so I certainly don't mind the color of the theme. :P

^Yeah, but it's a bit rough on the eyes, all this white. It's always been like a true break coming on the site, since I didn't really have to think AND my eyes could rest a little. I can't be alone in that, right?

@crucifix: Ah, ok. Thanks.

I can't wait for this new theme to come out. Though I'm sure some will find something to bitch about with it too. I guess Vixx should have just kept the forum down until the new theme was made so no one lost their eye sight. It doesn't bother me and even if it did I wouldn't complain about it.

I'm sure the new theme will be great. People complain about it too much, that's not the purpose of the site, the forums are.

I kinda miss the lil items you buy, i often keep thinking of having an avatar with them on his/her person. So far this place is going good. ^_^

Sigh. Again, that was discussed ad nauseum prior to us switching software. A thread just about this topic alone was in the Altar before we changed.

She's just saying that she miss the items, no big deal.

It's not like she's attacking someone and blaming the whole staff for getting rid of 'em. Sheesh.

It is very hard on the eyes and when I first came here I thought "Oh fuck...it looks like every other crappy forum. What have they done to it!?" *moan moan moan* --then Badass enlightened my impatient old ass and explained about the 'skins' or whatEVAH and I thought "Okay...*proceeded to settle from seizure*...I will be glad when it's all dark again and it looks like my old special place, with all my old special people".

Haha...trying to find everyone on this new format felt like the first day at a new school where you are searching the crowd trying to find familiar faces. I was so glad to find everyone. It was a very odd feeling...

Then I realised that a lot of people that I don't like 'came too' and I was kinda hoping that they had been lost in the traffic, if you know what I mean.

^Haha, yeah. Something like that.

On a separate note - it's wonderful to have an edit function again.

Genuine appreciation to everyone who gives their time and trouble to keep this site up and running. We may not always agree, but you are like a strange little family to me.

That totally solves the problem. Amazing. Except we do not ignore people. Some staff we would be if we did.

Not to add them to a full-on ignore list, but perhaps let it slide when people bring it up?

I can understand that it can get annoying, but it's a large forum with a lot of people, and some of them are going to miss the announcements.

Is there a reason why the spoiler tags aren't working sometimes? For example in the Last Movie U Saw thread, in Aerith Gainsborough's post made on July 16th about Toy Story 3.

I've seen it in a couple of other threads as well.

^Yeah i've noticed that too, actually the spoiler tags sometimes wouldn't work for me on the old forum. Like it would just say the word "spoiler" at the beginning and end of my post.

considering how many people aren't realizing that it's been discussed before? considering how many people keep bringing it up despite your irritated replies? is it that big of a deal if they're confused about the conversion? it's not hard for them to simply skim through this topic if they really care about the forum.
