So, what victim gave you the chills or pretty much scared the hell out of you?
My choice would have to be Cynthia. She's just like the ghost in that movie the Grudge! Her crawling, slithering, and grabbing me with her hair just gets me every time.

If you mean out of all, I've got to go with Billy/Miriam. Out those whose deaths we witness in the game, I suppose Cynthia, though I didn't really find even her that scary. (Haha...she grabs Henry with her HAIR and then slithers around the ground.) Also, I find Richard's ghost pretty creepy as well. Like Anakin said, he definitely had a scary death, and there's just something about it, both alive and as a ghost, that just subtlely gets to me. He was pretty badass when you met him, though.

-Cynthia's ghost reminded me of a vaccum cleaner when he slid across the floor face down.-
lol^
I think its Richard was the hardest to beat with his crazy phasing he does but I think the subway ghosts were freaky. Something about how they come in and get you while in the small cars - very opressive!

Yes its also the first encounter with the ghosts so your being introduced to the claustrofobic feeling you get when ghosts enter the area. It wouldve been creepy if you were like in an elevator and you had to fight a ghost in there untill the elevator arrives. (Ok, itll get fun when he's down. STOMP, STOMP, STOMP...)

Cynthia was SOOOO annoying! We (my roomie and I) Found it nearly impossibl to use the sword on her...so because of that our first play through we had to put up with her chasing us through the subway. We screamed every time we heard the noise of the ghost creeping up on us lol.
Richard's death scared the crap out of me. And when he disappears/reappears....just...no. Spooky city.

Richard I feel was the one that stood above the rest. None really scared me, annoyed me, indefinatly yes, but scared me no.

Richard's easy to dispose of. Takes 10 seconds from when you first encounter him. Pop a silver bullet in him, then Sword Of Obediance his ass to ground and leave him there for the rest of the game.

Cynthia ghost was brilliant, idea taken straight from Ring and Grudge movies, unfortunately 'her' scary potential wasn't fully used in that game
here very cool Cynthia ghost 'promo vid' http://www.shm.dustfungo.com/sh4/movie/sh4_0319_9k.wmv

I agree. I think that there should have been a lot of moments in the subway world where she suddenly crawled at you from undernieth benches, there should've been some hair floating around at some point [out of walls, etc.]KRYSTA-GG- wrote:Cynthia ghost was brilliant, idea taken straight from Ring and Grudge movies, unfortunately 'her' scary potential wasn't fully used in that game
I actually think it would've scarier if a whole bunch of jump moments had been scripted in with the ghosts that we saw die, and you couldn't kill them until somewhere near the end of the level, but then we'dhave to finally beat them down and stab them to the ground. LOL I ramble.
By the way, who else felt jipped that Cynthia didn't get an amazing entrance sequence? I myself that it would've been effective if we saw the door slowly open... and then... BAM! The door would slam open and hair would just spill out, wrapping around the gates, etc. Then Cynthia would appear inside and the hair would begin to sort of fade and she would fall to the ground, cut to entrance...
[Sorry for getting off topic, in my own topic, nonetheless.]
