Henry's locked in his apartment and can't get out. Bless.

I thought the water prison was just ridiculously boring.

I would say either the subway world or the hospital world. The hospital was actually more fun than scary though.

The Water Prison was moreover disgusting to me, not in looks per say, but the things that you learn about, it brings a feeling of "What they did to those kids..." (Even if it is a video game)

Most people say Henry's a pervert because of looking through the peephole to Eileen's room, but here's the thing: Your not required to do that, it's the players choice.
So whose the pervert now :P?

For me it's Hospital and Water Prison.
I love the Silent Hill Series. The games: Homecoming, Origins, and Shattered Memories, did nothing wrong whatsoever, they were developed well, and did things different. Just because they were not by Team Silent doesn't mean that they're bad games. I believe in this series. I believe that one day, we can have a game that will make all Silent Hill fans Happy. I believe that Silent Hill Downpour can achieve this.
Team Silent may be gone, but their series isn't. Instead... it's here, it's alive.

If you agree, add it to your sig.

Hospital here, or perhaps the apartment nearing the end of the game.

While the worlds in SH4 were pretty much scary in context, I was actually more frightened by Henry's own apartment. (where you saved your game)
Both before & after the hauntings started.
Don't know if it was the 1st person camera view or the spooky atmosphere, it'd just scare the hell out of me.
The irony was, that the apartment was supposed to be your "safe house" & save point...but most of the time, I prefered to stay in Walter's worlds!

Yeah it worked really well, did give you a feeling of helplessness and that there was no escape.

I actually always expected the monsters to eventually be IN his apartment and having to fight them there...

That would have been unfair to the player too DX Get out of the world from the monsters, go back into the safe place, well here's a cramped place to fight these huge Baby Twins! I'm glad my suspicions were false, although the hauntings were almost as bad.
And what does Walter care about 'fair' XD

I always imagined Joseph eventually coming back to the apartment. Though then my mind twists this small thought into Henry and Joseph being roomates and sharing stories... But... Anyways. >->

Apartment World 2nd time. Not only because it was creepy with the flesh crawling on the walls and such, but because you also learned about the abusive parents of Walter. Child abuse always deeply troubles me.

The place that really made me freak out was the Storage Room with that
PRIME_BBCODE_SPOILER_SHOW PRIME_BBCODE_SPOILER:
dead Walter on the crucifix
and, well, just how when Henry walked in and you didn't know what to expect at all. You could tell something creepy was going to happen, but you were never quite ready.

The apartment world.

The squishy looking walls and the music just kind of make it a little unsettling.

I liked the forest world's atmosphere, just something about that was creepy.

The water prison world. Mostly because of my first encounter with the twin victims.

They are my least favorite design for an enemy in any SH game, but I do have to admit, it is kind of creepy to see them. They do a lot of damage for an all hands unstable gross. lol
I don't make a signature.
Except for the part of the signature explaining that I don't.
And that.
And that.
And that.
...
...and that.

"Scary" is a vague term... Launching might be startling, but I found that the most unnerving or unsettling was when they pointed and whispered. I swear whenever I heard someone whisper for hte next couple days I was immediatly on alert.

Also my choice. I was so afraid to even walk around the halls of that place. x-x;;;
