I guess someone felt that it was necessary to add character traits without confirming them. I highly doubt that it was that the creators thought about circumcision while making this game.

It seems to me someone had a need to lash out, thus the description of Walter's psyche quickly degraded into a sophomoric and tasteless essay about the history of America's shortcomings.

^I've tried. Supposed "Socio-Political" issues don't belong in a Silent Hill encyclopedia. Imagine in ten years, someone looks up the game and the character and believes the false and unconfirmed information. That person will believe it, and that's fucked to me.

EDIT: So it was that Alex guy that wrote the whole thing, huh. When adressing his thoughts sometimes he makes sense but, most of the time, he's bat-shit insane. He's smart, I'll give you that, but spent too much time "seeking the truth". That can make you mad. I know from experience.
