Oh good luck! I found some aspects of the game to be the most unsettling about of all of them. The ghosts not being among those that can be defeated is rather intimidating. Especially when you are starting out.

Yeah i remember walking into my dad playing it once. He was at the bit where cynthia became a ghost. I had nightmares lol.
I also did when he had walter chasing him and saw a twin victim.
But the game always interested me!

An approaching ghost will cause the screen to flash red whether you're wearing a medallion or not. The medallions' purposes are (1) to prevent damage from ghosts and (2) to exorcise hauntings.
