What Does This Building Have To Do With SH1?

Have you seen Harry's daughter anywhere? Short, dark hair?

What Does This Building Have To Do With SH1?

Post by XxMAGGOTxX »

I'm sorry if it's not a good picture but it's the only one I could find.

I've played the game twice, and I'm still a little confused on what building that is and what it's relation is to the story. Did I miss something in the game? What is this building?

so, is that where you go to near the end of the game where you see the scene with Dahlia and Alessa before the final boss fight? And nowhere takes you there?

people say that that's where it is. Nowhere just take you into one certain part on the inside, and they put the outside of the house just in the beginning cinema.

Yep, I'm pretty sure its the Gillespie house. Kinda makes you wonder how it could have burned or spread the fire to the town, considering it seems to be in the middle of nowhere. no pun intended.

The boiler exploded. Who knows what's across the street. And only six houses were destroyed total. And the house is in Central Silent Hill.

Literally :D

I never had thought of the fact that the house in the end of Nowhere is
THAT same house we can see in the intro. But I was kinda subconscious about that it WAS the Gillespie house.

That was a scene that was supposed to be in the game but it got cut and put into the opening FMV. But like everyone has said it's the Gillespie house.

One has to consider that it's not as though the house caught on fire because someone threw a cigarette in the trashcan. The fire was per a magical ceremony. Imagine a wall of flames bursting through the roof and extending for dozens of yards in either direction.

Yes. The Olson home, at Cushing, Maine is the inspiration for "Christina's World" by Andrew Wyeth. It's in the SH1 Reference Guide in the SH1 section on this messageboard. It's the last thing under Central Silent Hill. Link:

Somber you really should learn how to read the like, eight other posts before yours before hitting "post reply." You're seventeen years old, that's old enough to know how to process words. Not to mention it's been stated more than once that it's the Gillespie household..

wait, I just thought of something, if it is the Gillespie household, then how is it possible for you to be in it? It burned down right? So how can Harry travel through a house that was burned down before he even arrived at silent hill?

Silent Hill breaks all realites and makes it's own.Space and time work and bend there allowing him to be sent to the past, with even the ghost of the memories of Dahlia and young Alessa.

The house is a part of "Nowhere" and that is also not the real house. We were not in the real Silent Hill when we went into that house.
