UFO ending? (possible spoiler)

Post by MetallicaManiac »

I have played through the game and got all five endings but my friend said he got a UFO ending and my stradegy guide does not mention one. Do you guys know if there is a UFO ending? and if so how do I get it?

Well, I downloaded off the net somewhere, so I think there is. But I could be wrong.

I think, (and I'm not sure of this, so don't quote me!), that you can get the UFO ending if you have Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams. You need the Xbox version or the Greatest hits PS2 version.

You need the greatest hits version.
It has the UFO ending and has Maria scenario.

Man, now I have to go shovel out more money for Silent Hill2?

What am I saying, I'd gladly shovel out more money for more Silent Hill content.

Which greatest hits version? I have the regular Xbox version. But now you guys are confusing me. Someone put up a link that didn't work and then someone was talking about a jewel.
Someone take the time to describe it please.

There's a Greatest Hits for PS2 and a Restless Dreams for XBOX. When you play either one, there's a blue gem tucked in the corner of the bathroom you start out in. You have to use it in 3 spots (the room you wake up in after fighting the hospital boss, the dock outside the prison, and Room 312 of the hotel). And there's your ending...

The X-box version Silent hill 2: restless dreams has it
Get all 5 endings, then get blue jewl in mens room when you start a new game.

ALSO on the greatist hits version on ps2 has it.

If the game you have has the born from a wish senario where you play a maria, then that meens you have the version with the ufo ending
oO?

I didn't have to get all 5 endings to get it. I think it appeared after you beat it the first time...or the Maria scenario. I forget.

Not even a good ending, but I like the guest star.

Never deny the power of the almighty channeling stone
found in SH1, 2, and 4. It is worth shelling out 20 bucks
to witness. The UFO ending like the others is as absurd
as the dog ending, though in no ways stupid. Loved every
minute of it.

I thought the dog ending was ridiculous and only got it for the sake of viewing all secrets. But the idea that the dog was controlling everything was cute. And the dog growling everytime he saw Eddie in the credits (because he killed a dog) was pretty clever.

Okay, how do I "use" it?
