No matter how much you smack her, she will not become cursed.

On the PC version on Normal mode, I smacked her straight for 2 minutes with a Baseball Bat, and I didn't notice anything different about her condition. Theoretically, this might also mean that she is invulnerable to enemy attacks, but I highly doubt that. Plus, I haven't tested that theory yet.

So for now, don't worry if Eileen is in between you and an enemy. For your safety and possibly her's, hit that monster before it hits both of you.

Does anybody else care to corroborate my theory about Eileen not taking damage from you? Just to make sure.

I think she does take damage from you but her pulsating blood progresses as you further go through the levels.

She takes damage from you like from a monster. Who hasn´t spanked her? I did for the 21 Sacs ending and it worked, looked like she was touched by Moses.

I was under the impression that she only took damage from Henry if there were no creatures in the vicinity, ie. it is a measure to make sure you don't damage her in the crossfire.

She does become more cursed the more you hit her. I've done it before. The only thing is... I don't see a difference in her appearance until I get to the door that leads to that spiral staircase that leads to another world. Maybe that's the case for you?

The ghosts emit a damaging aura though. Both Henry and Eileen get damaged just being in their vicinity.

I'm just glad that Eileen doesn't die outright, even when she gets smacked about alot. That saves a certain degree of frustration I think (unless of course you're trying to get certain endings and refuse to use the holy candle trick).

I believe it is correct that she will take damage if no enemies near by when hit by Henry. She won't if it's a crossfire situation.

One thing though that I've noticed, is that if you carry the doll around in your personal inventory she will become cursed faster than if it was left in the storage locker or not picked up at all. I could be wrong though. Anyone else notice that?

I left her alone in the room full of Victims in Forest World 2. She was slowing down as I ran for the door, so I went through, did what I needed to do, and left, but when I came back, she was flat on the ground barely breathing. I thought she was dead :shock:, but she slowly got back up and never did that again afterward. Strange.

l've only beaten the game twice and both times l got 21 sacraments. is it true that the endings are based on: clear room of hauntings/or don't and save eileen/or don't? l remember reading on some site that to get the better endings, one has to collect all the notes (possibly cheatcc).

You have to make sure that dumbass goes unscathed the entire second half of the game.
