The same room where you meet Eddie. It's in a tiny little sublet right before you go into the bathroom to talk to him.

I find those football posters interesting, since Eddie mentions that "He" is gonna have a hard time playing football with his screwed up knee.

When I found that room I asked to myself, is that room related to Eddie? Is that room a creation of Eddie, or something he remembers about that person he shot?

silenced angel i think that room is related with Eddie...
You remember that room in Blue Creek Apartment where James meet Eddie for the first time. We can find there a dead body in refrigerator, probably it's dead owner of that room. Then James meets Eddie and founds room with football posters. I think Eddie killed that man, then in prison he confessed to James that HE DIDTHAT: "gonna have a hard time playing football on what's left of that knee".

thought that athletics and that side of life was what eddie lacked and that the room symbolises that so the person he killed was the stereotypical person who makes fun of him.

He said he ran away from the cops, so silent hill town opens it' doors for him and lets him going on a killing spree!!

Honestly, that is the closest theory i can get for the moment. It is 8:30 in the morning and I can't think straight
