Why are there so many Victim 07+08s?

They're the only thing with victim in their name that I know of that pops up in groups. Why are there so many?

I think he meant since there were only 2 victims joined to one monster, why there are multiple Victim 7/8 monsters lurking about. Especially since the other victims only had one monster of them, such as

Cynthia, Andrew, and Jasper

Good point. It may be because the two were innocent children and they are a recurring reminder to Walter for some reason or another.

Possibly the same reason that several victims were simply omitted from the game world.

I think it might just because the two children are very similar so he kinda puts them together? Also, they were twins right? So maybe that could be a reason.

They couldnÂ´t assume the forms of the other victims, because they were just childs and their soul was pure, so they would not be wandering through WalterÂ´s realm forever, but instead assuming the forms of monsters.

Hmm, that's a good question. And why did the other victims turn into ghost instead of monsters ? (Correct me if I'm wrong, haven't played the game 4EVER!)

Well, if you want to think about it, Walter probably felt hella guilty for those two kids: they had nothing to do with anything, he never knew them, never spoke to them, never had any sort of connection to them nor did he have any reason--justified or not--to do anything to them. They were the murders for which he was convicted and assume the shape of conjoined weird as fuck babies probably.. because... he has a twisted mind? And his childhood sucked? And he corrupted their childhood just like the Order had fucked up his? Plus they point at you, hunt you down, shit like that--all seems to be very accusational to me, which I'd imagine is how Walter would imagine they'd behave towards him. The manifestation of dozens of these creatures seems to reflect some kind of self-destructive guilt.

It goes without saying that this is all I M H O.

The Locane children (07 & 08, if I'm not mistaken) were brother and sister, though not twins, and were very close to one another, almost inseparable, one might say. So, my theory is that they somehow got fused together as spirits and because of their connection to one another and the close relationship they had in life, Walter's murdering them could not separate them in death.

That's what I've got.

I have wondered bout the 7,8 victims before as well. Their pointing is very frightening.

I would agree with the accusational part of that - like Walter felt a bit guilty for killing them and now they reside in his messed up world together as one form because that is the way Walter thinks of them, as one person, one horrible deed he has done to get to where he wants.

Does anyone think they look like birds? has that been said?

Good thinking here. So we think they fused because of their bonding, but maybe they are MONSTERS because they are different from all the other victims. the other victims are all adults if i remember correctly, all over 17. Billy and Miriam were just kids, so instead of taking on the form of ghosts they took on the form of a monster because their deaths were very horrific (The most brutal and bloody deaths out of all the 21 sacrament victims i believe)
its already been mentioned but the guilt thing is proberably a good idea. they keep re appearing to remind Walter of his brutal attack on the children.
Also they proberably couldnt get away with little half cut up children floating around waiting to be batted.

Hold on. If the ostrich/baby head monster is Victim 7 and 8, then what is the fleshy version of the baby head monster? You know, the faceless and more powerful ones?

Good question... one that i cant answer. must play through SH4 again!
