Silent Hill Play Novel question...
Is there an english faq on the internet anywhere that has the story and everything in english, so I look at it while playing the game. I really want an english faq at the least! I can't find one like this though...

Partial English translation? You mean from silent hill heaven, cause that's the only one I know. Yeah, I'm just looking for an faq that is in english and helps me understand what is going on in the game. Like Harry's part, most of it is from the game itself, so that's no big deal. Cybal's is another story though, litterly.

Thank you very much! I can at least play Cybil's story in english now.
How much of the translation is done? I don't want a real abrupt stop while playing it.JENKIJOE10605 wrote:there is a silent hill play novel game in english at www.amybalot.com/silenthill/indexen.html

you should probably address taht question to me,since i'm the one who made it (with some help from the people on my forum). the beginning and ends are done, some holes in the middle, but basically you can play the whole way through. the andy scenario and guidebook are on my forum, but playable part of that is offline for now.leon101 wrote:How much of the translation is done? Anyway, we don't talk about roms here, it is stated in the forum rules.
Currently working on a flash version to recreate the Andy spring scenario because it is lost to the world and not included in the game itself, since it was for download. Missing a few frames and still needs a lot of work, but it is here and playable, complete with videos and sounds and a wee bit of Harry's scenario:
http://files.filefront.com/shpndemov4ex ... einfo.html
~14 Mb
(Flash projector file for PC)
"A" is back, "B" is forward, unless there is a choice to make on the screen, in which case they correspond to the choices. Unless there are more than 2, in which case you click the dots next to the choices. hey, i didn't claim it was perfect... also, this is very unfinished.

Re: Silent Hill Play Novel question...
Just bumping to say the flash translation is done.

The official Silent Hill Facebook page even posted about it, which I found surprising:

Re: Silent Hill Play Novel question...
Well, all the text is there except one paragraph of Cybil's scenario in the cafe, but I need to find that part in order to finish... The online version has all endings, text, etc. for Harry and Cybil, plus Andy's spring scenario.
The downloadable will be updated as I get things 100% done (that means testing the flow, adding the rest of music, adding all videos) and will be a resizeable flash executable, but still not suited for full screen because the images are not available in larger than the GBA native resolution.
bloody-disgusting just put up an article on it, too:
http://bloody-disgusting.com/news/32162 ... lay-novel/
And some site called venturebeat:
http://venturebeat.com/2013/01/26/fans- ... e-of-work/
This is weird because no one paid attention before, I didn't expect anyone to post about it.
