who is the cake for?

Post by TANK »

Ok ive beat the game like 5 times, and i dont have any problems or anything, but i just wanted to know, in the apartment world (the second time) you have to find a cue ball, a cat, a volleyball, and candles for the cake. My question is, who is the cake for? was it a thing for walter as a child?

There's a birthday cake in the room where one of the Victims is lurking, so I just assumed that Walter killed him there on his birthday. Judging from the decor etc it's probably his mother's house, so there they are sitting down to cut the cake when Walter bursts in and butchers him.

In the Victim Files you read that, in Eric Walsh's profile, it is not his birthday--which is why he's so surprised to find someone there. . . .

Thanks, I just re-read the victim file. I wonder why Walter went to all the trouble of setting up the cake for his birthday. It's pretty sadistic even for him, and generally his behavior indicates a desire to get the 10 Hearts part of the ritual done with minimal fuss...

Actually, that cake was for me. My birthday was last Wed.

Happy birthday to me!

Good point. I remember there were other things on the table along with the cake. Someone wanna take a screen shot so we can discuss more of this cakey topic lol. Knowing the SH team, there has to be some reason for a cake to jsut be laying around.

Maybe Walter just likes cake? Is that so hard to believe? In fact it has been proven dozens of times by scientists that serial killers love cake. Look at all the famous ones like Manson, Dahmer, BTK! They all have one thing in common, a great passion for a good cake! Behind these psychopaths distubing personalities lies a young boy who just has a sweet tooth, and people, doesnt that little boy live inside all of us?

No...it was a birthday party for the victim...it says it on his profile. He's surprised because it's not his family who is waiting for him. Eric leaves early from the bar because it closes early due to the other murders, and he gets killed when he gets home, looking forward to his birthday.
