James' Boots

Post by godspiel »

So, with the upcoming movie piquing my interest, I begain playing SH2 again and it dawned on me:
James' boots look *alot* like Johnny Reb boots.

I own a pair of these as they make great bike boots. Sorry if this has been mentioned before (I'm new here) or you didn't find this mildly interesting.

Those would be great for a James cosplay. Little expensive though.

I don't think James could afford those...

From the fit of his pants style, and the squareness of his boots, I'd think he were wearing taller engineer/harness boots...those shorter reb boots are too thin.

I always thought he was wearing shoes, not boots.

My Russian friend has a pair of those.

I have yet to see a very excellent cos-play of James. Fulfill my dream!

Johnny Rebs come in tall, also:

I own both. The short ones I wear casually and I wear the tall ones on the bike to keep the wind out. The tall ones also fill out the calf of my jeans really nicely.

Yeah, but that's in Aussie dollars, 300AU equates to about 10 American dollars. Well, back in the day it did.

James' probably were old biker boots. And that black T-shirt probably has Def Leppard tour dates on the back.

I bought a pair myself..I suppose they can be worn for males and females...but when I was in the store and I spotted them, I turned to my friend and said.."Look, they have James Sutherland's boots on sale!" No kidding...I am glad I am not the only one to notice character footwear :D
