Whoa, that's weird. Never noticed that.

Very interesting thread, I'm looking forward for this game.
Krysta wrote: In a 9 min long trailer I can hear Your Rain from SH4 OSTs and a track called The Day of night from SH2 OST so this means there may be more of sucha 'flashbacks', like for instance SH1 ambiences also heard as Travis walks into the house. But from the trailer its hard to make a diffrence between added BGMs and originals. 8th probably was too excited with everything going on around her to remember each particular ambient sounds :)
From the SHF.co.uk board:
SHF: It's great to hear Akira Yamaoka will be composing the soundtrack. Is all the music to be original or will tracks from previous games be re-used? Is a soundtrack CD going to be released?

A soundtrack CD is planned at this point. All of the music created for Origins is brand new and original.

I already have a psp... so that wont be an issue with me... the only trouble is.. I hope that the game has the fmv movie sequences that we saw in sh2.. I loved those, they were soo realistic..

im going to pick up a psp when it comes out..

there pretty cheap
little solace comes
to those who greve
as thoughts keep drifting
as walls keep shifting
and this big blue world
seems a house of leaves
*moments before the wind*

Well so far the only game I have for my PSP is Jeanne D'Arc and Metal Gear Acid...good games, but way different from silent hill! I'm really excited that I finally get a Silent Hill on the PSP...

Still, they mention the remake idea and I still want them to do it! On the PS Store...for like 5 bucks...

Have they put in the noise yet? I remember reading a previous review saying the graphics looked to clean because they hadn't stuck in the noise filters.
If you can read this, I'll kill you.

If you don't have a PSP, might wanna consider waiting for a PSVita... it looks pretty awesome. Apparently the graphics are PS3 level good, and it's backwards compatible with a PSP. There's actually a lot of good games for the PSP I need to catch up on.
