help Blue Creek apartments room 109

Post by JacIsRad »

Hey im not sure if there is another place where we ask for help with cirtain parts of games so im very sorry if i am in trouble for putting it here...

I was wondering if anyone knows how to get into room 109 in the blue creek appartments...its always locked and i tryed reading many walkthroughs and none explain how to get in. i read the letter saying the key is in the room next to the stairs but i just dont get it. if anyone knows what to do or know anything im talking about i would be super happy to get some advice!

Thank you all!

Are you sure that's not Room 209 that's locked? Room 109 is where you meet Angela for the second time, so that should never be locked. To get into Room 209 you need to solve the coin puzzle - where you put the three coins into the five holes in the desk in Room 105.

If Room 109 is locked in your game, you could have a bug. I could be wrong, though. I frequently am.

Love your avatar, by the way.

I think you have to meet Eddie before you can meet Angela in room 109

you haven't done something you should have done (gotten an important item, met someone, etc). just retrace your steps, because there is no key for the room.

Eh...

I haven't played SH2 in a while, but don't you have to put the juice cans in the trash chute and get the coin there and in the Courtyard? That's the only thing that really comes to mind aside from Eddie.

I don't know if that would halt your progress, but it's an idea:

Also, in Angela's room you receive the Prisoner coin, which is needed in the coin puzzle. Perhaps you can't access her without having the other coins in your possession first? Those are the Snake coin, located in the pram in the pool in the courtyard and the Old Man coin, located in the trash and obtained by putting the canned juice down the trash chute in Woodside.

If you have all that, all I can really suggest is reading a walkthrough (Conqueror on GameFAQs always made my life easier when I needed it) and retracing your steps to make sure you've obtained every item, read every memo and witnessed every cutscene.

Thank you for all of the help XD
I cant seem to figure out whats causing it still, i got the coins ive read the walkthroughs over and over and i even had my cousin (who just beat sh2) come try too! maybe its just a glitch or something, im probably gunna just restart, im not that far into the game so it wont hurt. hehe.
Thanks again everyone!

It might be a disc glitch, my one of my copies won't let me enter Neely's Bar no matter how many times I restart the game.

don't you have to enter the bar at the start of the game? i don't think mine would let me get in either while it was "dark silent hill". i haven't tried since then, though.

You really do have a weird problem there. I went searching and found this in one of the walkthroughs from GameFaqs.com...
Enter Room 101. You should hear someone vomiting, but check
out the area first. You can find a bloody open fridge with some legs
coming out of it in the kitchenette, and a pack of HANDGUN BULLETS in the
far right corner of the room. Enter the washroom, where the noise is
coming from, and a video will play. James now meets Eddie. Although no key
items are procured here, you must see Eddie or else you cannot continue
further into the game later.
Then enter Room 109 down the hallway, ignoring the Mannequin ahead. If the
door won't open then you have missed something. If you haven't done so,
you need to see Eddie in Room 101 1F in the north building of Wood Side
Apartments.
But, you already said you met Eddie....so I have no idea :|

If you go back to neeleys in 'dark silent hill' theres writing on the wall that says something like.'If you really want to see mary james you should just die but youde be going to a diferent place than mary.' it freaked me out the first time I played the game.
Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth. There is no spoon.

That's cool, I'll have to look for that after I beat SH1 again. :)

"yeah, i was talking about the "there was a hole here..." message."

Nope. Doesn't effect the game progression, or else I wouldn't have been able to beat the game many times over.

You don't have to go back to Room 101. There's nothing there for you.
I'm not dead yet, dammit.
