No need to get cocky now ;)
Mistakes are normal in human nature, and I see I made a mistake, but no need to rub it in :P

@Drakan90
It sure was interesting to discuss ;)

Yeah.. i get anal sometimes

On a side note i took lots and lots of screenshots of the game and i was wondering if any of you noticed the love heart on the wall after you enter the Otherworld version of the place where Lisa and Kaufmann were having "fun".

Good eye ;) Never seen that :)
I did find the twoback in that room a little perculiair :P

BTW 2nd gig, totally offtopic: Do you happen to have any screenshots of Travis' mum? I've been searching for some screens of her for some time now.
If so, could you please post them under a spoiler tag in the picture request thread? :)

I think everyone will agree that this particular issue has been resolved.
I guess we'll just wait for someone else to bring up something of dispute?

... yeah, so... Lisa.
...
... What's... what's up with... that.
...

i never noticed the heart, do you think it is used to symbolize the relationship of kaufman and lisa. i mean if the otherworld is the anti silent hill then wouldnt the opposite of lisa and kaufman be love?

Yes. I elucidate why in this very thread.

I honestly think that Climax flubbed the whole "hooky" thing. The fact that the lines between it being Alessa and Lisa are so blurry, though both have their distinct good points for an argument, strikes me as either lazy or intentional. Make of it waht you will.

There was an 'inflammatory' post here. It's gone now.
(I still contest that I was not the one doing the picking. But I'll end it here. Happy?)

It's probably a cultural divide kind of thing.
Climax Studio is UK based (right?) and in the UK if you're six years old, you've already been in proper School for 2 years - they probably just assumed that American Elementary school started at a similar time. To someone in the UK, the idea of someone who's six or seven years of age 'playing hooky' or 'skipping class' isn't as weird as it might be for an American - that's why I just instantly assumed that the child was Alessa.
I for one never knew that Kindergarten was for 6 year olds.

Goddammit. Everybody please stop picking fights with one another and providing flame bait. This thread has gotten out of hand too many times and I or another mod will just lock it if you can't knock it off. Take it to PMs or don't say a thing. Please.

She is unstable IMO. She takes crack. A teaser. Actress wanna be (probably acting all along). "I just made Travis cry. LOLOL. I'm so good in acting."

Maybe, she is just a delusion. Maybe Kauffman has been sleeping with a ghost.

Maybe she is like Maria after all. I guess we're gonna have to ask Konami and climax for a PS2 version after all. Maybe they'll come up with some crappy mini-game for us to find out her story.

Whored from a Wish. That wouldn't be too interesting a game...

... Go to the Asylum, have face licked by a mental patient
... Go to the Theatre, flash tits at actors to distract them
... Go to the Motel, snort crack, shag Kaufmann.
... Go clubbing, get drunk, les-out with a stranger for some guys camcorder.

I take it back.
That would be a great game.

No, she didnt.
Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth. There is no spoon.

Crack-crak-crack-crack = PTV+LSD+LG(LCD TV)

Have I got it right this time? Oh, yeah. Its PTV then.
What does it stand for anyway? :?

I'm just saying. Maybe she is a delusion. Maybe....

Explains alot for me.
Did she seriously make Travis cry?
Not really. She just made him wonder a bit around the room looking at the paintings before killing "Momma..."
She's not.
I'm not really good in figuring out comparisons, so I'll just....dunno, wait till Konami make a referance or a mini-game?
Or just try and figure it out myself. I got a lot of phychology books and stuff. Maybe they can help me out.

I just wish they had payed more attention to the parts of her storyline that mattered. The drug-addiction, taking care of Allessa, her murder, etc. But it wasn't until her last appearance that they touch on any of that, and it's just a sample of drugs on the counter.

dude please...you are lacking basic knowledge about this series. I kinda find your ignorance irritating after reading random posts like that
