i personally think it was joseph.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy.

(even though I could not stand him) I would have to say
Richard. Being electrocuted without a conductor! That would
probably be more painful than any of the other deaths
witnessed in the game.
There is no real explaination as to how Josheph died or
should I say vanished so therefore I can not really feel to
sorry for him. I mean shit, maybe he likes it, living in the walls?

I said Henry...why? Because he had to go through all this crap when he really didn't ask for any of it. He just moved into the damn apartment. (Then again none of them asked for it.)

I think Cynthia Velasquez

She followed Henry around for a while only to go missing in the subway, then found covered in blood in the security/ticket room.

At least she didn't bitch like Eileen did grrrr.

Jasper Gain.

Stuttering then immolated, and imprisioned in an alternate reality as a specter.

I think that's proof that God had something personal against the man.

Richard, someone with a temper can always go to anger management classes. It's not their fault.
Value your failures more than your successes. Successes only last until someone screws them up. Failures are forever. She left...and...I'm lost.

I do believe the most unfortunate character was Walter, but I chose Joseph. I mean, the theme for his death was even labeled "Despair".

I do as well. He grew up in such a horrible place, convinced that his mother was an apartment. His whole life was just depressing.

However, since Walter isn't a choice, I picked Henry, because as someone already said, he just moved into the apartment and all that shit started happening.

Henry. What did he do to deserve that? Then again, what did any of them do?

Personally, I think Eileen. I mean, sure, Henry had loads of shit to go through -- but he hardly even bat an eyelid. Eileen on the other hand was so frightened and upset. And c'mon, the poor woman got possessed by spirits at all random parts of the game. I think she reacted how anybody in her situation would.

Cynthia deserved to die. *makes stabby motions*. I just didn't like her. She was weird and drunken. ;_;

Walter had a fucking sad life. I feel sorry for him. I mean, c'mon, little Walter was so tiny and cute... He's the sort of kid you could just...hug and hug.

Haha, I never cared much at all for Cynthia.
It's not like I was GLAD that she died, but...

...forget that, I was glad.

I went with Henry on this one.

Meh, a lot of them weren't great people to begin with, although Richard was killed in one of the most painful ways known to man. That was way too extreme for him, even if he was kinda nuts. Cynthia was a real bitch, as evidenced by Translated Memories, and Jasper thought Silent Hill and it's cults were 'cool'. Fattie, the guard guy, he definitely deserved it. Eileen and Joseph seemed to be put through the worst conditions, with Eileen being seriously affected by the disturbing world around her, and Joseph being sucked into it while still retaining vestiges of his personality and sanity. I'd have to go for Joseph, having to stew like that.
