The signifigance of the snow in silent hill

Try living in Michigan. If it snowed here at that time of the year it's not that far off. Maybe they should have set it in summer, like July or August.

I always felt it was just to add to the eerieness and isolation. I know whenever it snows here..like a significant amount I always remember how quiet it is. It isn't like rain which makes a sound, it just falls. Pretty eerie to me.

That was always my favorite part about living in NE Pennsylvania, or when visiting around that time of year. There's little as lovely as a snowstorm when you're up in the mountains around Tunkhannock, I think.
