Once Upon A Pixel...

Post by Jonipoon »

Surfing around at Gametrailers, I saw that they'd posted a new comedy video about Silent Hill 2. The main topic is "What if Silent Hill were an 80s sitcom?".

Personally, I didnt like it. Even though the Seinfield music did cheer me up a bit.

I dunno, I rather liked this one. After letting my curiosity get the best of me a few times on youtube and being tricked into watching HORRIBLE SH animations, this was a refreshing break.

Also, SH2 being my favorite in the series, naturally I am glad that this was based on it. The dog cameo was kewl too.

And yes, Red Pyramid saying "rape rape rape!" followed by the Seinfeld bass line made me chuckle a little.

Thanks Jonipoon.

It wasn't funny; not in the "deliberately not funny" way, it just wasn't funny.

I guess someone over there forgot that Seinfeld was more of a '90s sitcom than an '80s sitcom.

I was highly amused by it due to nostalgia factor.

I think it would've been better if, at the end, instead of Pyramid Head again, it was Laura standing in the door with her arms crossed, looking all stern, as the audience goes "Oooooooooh!" like James is in trouble with his mom or something.

That was pretty good. I didn't find myself laughing at it really, I was just impressed with the idea and the 'quality' of it :P

My favourite bit was the 'a Dog productions' bit :P

^Your take on its quality leads me to believe that you too have fallen prey to the allure of SH youtube videos.

lol, I've only watched a few... I just thought this one had some quite 'good' production compared to some flash animations I've seen.

This makes me think, we should have some sort of SH video contest or something. Nothings better then a funny SH nostalgia video :D plus, we got some talented people on here, making a entire website and all those SH LOL pics in one topic!

Hmm, I'm not sure what to think except .. what the hell is wrong with their noses? All of them look ripped off of their faces! I laughed a couple of times but ...meh.
