I know that 2 are used for the Silent Hill Cemetery puzzle, but what about the others? I noticed that after I entered the prison they vanished. I managed to beat the game without the use of'em but it made me wonder, why you pick them up and just drop'em? Strange.
Can someone explain to me what happens after you solve that puzzle? I only managed to get one Gemstone. I couldn't figure out what to do so I just left the puzzle and continued on with the game.
When I beat the game I was wondering what the heck that puzzle was for.
You get the key to get into the area with the assault rifle (which is actually semi-automatic). Pretty underwhelming.

I believe thats the door where all your equipment belongs. To get the key, you need to go back into the room where you slaughtered Curtis and its hanging on the wall where you two battled. Inside that room behind the locked door there are one or two health drinks and I believe a serum, and also all of your equipment that you have collected in the game
I believe thats the door you mean thats underground.
Yes, it's for the Semi-Automatic Rifle. Though the Police Marksman Rifle is better imo. It's not worthy the time just to get it in the cemetery, only if you're after the achievment/trophie/whatever.
Yeah, I dont find the Assualt rifle very effective and only used it once during the church, its nothing very speical to go out of your way for in my opinion.
