Do you mean on their websites or when you asked them in the shop? Game till operators rarely know shit about release dates. I'm fairly certain you can buy this game tomorrow in the UK and that March 5th was an old projected release date. I don't really mind anyway, I'm not getting it until the 12th of March (my birthday).

I'm hoping I get it today, ordered from amazon on the 15th and they haven't changed the release date since then. I'm a little disconcerted that both Game and Gamestation have it down as the 5th of March on their websites, ah well whats another week?

So I called round Game, Gamestation and Granger Games...

Granger games only have it in 3 stores (i have a friend in one of those stores so she is shipping it to my local one today so I should have it tomorrow)

Granger games don't have any in, and Game are insistant that it is out on the 5th March, and then they said that Granger's version is American and won't work....so I checked with Granger and it is indeed a UK version.

Sigh, why is there always confusion when it comes to Silent Hill release dates.....ah well. I just gotta hope I get it tomorrow.

Not really. It all depends on the seller. It will come the next day if they post it 1st class BEFORE it gets collected

The game was in HMV yesterday but not today. Haha, would've picked it up but they where charging £34.99 for it when it's about £10 cheaper online. It is instore but I think they have had to move the street date to the 5th to coincide with all other shops.

Got it on saturday on the Wii for a total of £24.97 from amazon.co.uk . Why was it soo cheap, I was expecting to pay £40, and from what I've played thats still worth every penny.

Thats a shame really, some fans just need to 'let go' their missing out on a great game, though I will admit its not for everyone.

I don't mean that, I'm talking about how badly the game marketing and release has been handled in UK, and I'm assuming, but the entire EU.

Okay...I just bought mine from eBay. 36gbp. Is that a good price?
I live in Romania and the game would've arrived on our shelves in about a month, for a price of 60gbp... from my point of view, the ebay price it's a good price.
