Grey Child + Other Monsters Symbolism

I'm wondering what's the signfication of the Grey Children since it has not been mentioned in the Book of Lost Memories. Personally I believe that they represent other children in Midwich who bullied Alessa.
And Larval Stalker is supposed to represent the memories of being teased at school?

They're the kids she had to deal with on a day-to-day basis; the ones who carved things into her desk--that's why they carry knives.

They represent that inocence is a myth

Are you talking about the little shadow children?

Everyone thinks of them as such a monster, and maybe they're right, but here's how I see it:

The white evil children with the knives are the ones that bullied Alessa and carved rude things into her desk.

The little shadow children, the ones that squeak, then scurry away from y ou, trip and fall down then disappear? I think of those as the memory of children who were also bullied, like Alessa. Children that stayed in the shadows, hid in corners to escape such teasing and mean children.

Why else would they run away from Henry, and trip, and fade away?

And they squeak all cute like! I really like those little guys.

Maybe because the radio picks all sort of spirits, evil or not? Like Valtiel (although a bad example), he kinda protects you but you still get radio noise don't you?

AHAHA yeah I always get "henry" and "harry" mixed up. I'll be talking about the games and go " Blah blah blah Harr-Hen...??? Henry? Harry?"

Yeah, I think the radio picks up spirits/creations of Alessa's mind.

Those little monsters scare me. I hate that goddammed classroom were there are dozens of them, and I think that they are spirits of people trapped by Alessa who seek HarryÂ´s help, but they are afraid of the other monsters, the solid ones, and the semi-invisable creatures that attack you in Nowere are evil spirits.

I love their delightful little laugh when they attack you. However, it's the poorest of sound quality. And I can't quite understand what the noise is they make when they see you. I've seen it referred to as "choking."

The Shadow children don't attack you, and I always thought they made more of a 'squeaking' noise...like a mouse.

I don't remember what the white children sound like.

I have the one disk where there are children with knives in the school but what edition has the monsters with claw, if not edition then what year

In the European version they censored the mumblers and changed them with longclaws.In that same version the larval stalker(the large knife wielding shadow-like monster)appears all over Nowere when you turn of the power.

Those If I remember correctly were changed before the game's release. Originally, they were visible and attacked you.

You're thinking of something else, Sullivan: The Mumblers, the small, grey, children-like creatures found in the school, were replaced--in the European versions--by the Claw Fingers, the short, brown, teddy bear-like creatures found first in the sewers.

This explains things.
