Anything i should know about before I get SH2?
Hey, I was wondering if there's any part in the game, where if you missed something, you can't go back and get it. Because, I bought SH1, and got the plastic bottle in the hospital but didn't fill it with the pink liquid. Then when I got to the fourth floor, and I couldn't go back!
So please tell me if there's anything I should know before playing the game. Thanks!

There's nothing truely crucial that you can miss and not be able to go back to get, so don't worry about that. Though it's completely possible to miss just about every weapon, except for the plank and shotgun. Just make sure to explore things as much as possible and you should be fine though.

yeah, Mary is actually the name of James' favourite Monster Truck and he totalled it so went to Silent Hill for some spare parts. He has some crazy idea though that Mary's actually a person...Silent Hill can really mess with ya, eh?
In all seriousness there's nothing you can really miss as long you explore everywhere a moderate amount.
Also stay out these forums or you're gonna be stuck in spoiler central if you don't already know the story.

Check everywhere. There will be new rooms appearing where previously the doors where locked or simply didn't exist. Be vigilant and keep looking, eventually you will stumble onto things well enough. And if all else fails, after you play through on your own a couple times, go look at a walkthrough since you will already know the storyline.

What you should know is...
DO NOT SPOIL THE GAME FOR YOURSELF IN ADVANCE.
Not getting the red liquid in SH1 isn't a big deal: you can do that on a subsequent playthrough. What's the fun of only playing to get the "best" ending? The bad endings of Silent Hill have always been my personal favorites, especially a particularly potent ending in Silent Hill 2 which I will not spoil.

Yeah I agree with Chels, just do it. Play the game. If you don't want to use a walkthrough you don't have to. I was mostly suggesting it since you seemed to have missed that part in SH1. I will tell you that there was something that I missed while playing before and had to start the whole game over again. I don't remember, but there is something.
