Wow, pretty cool. Kinda surprising you don't have any 3rd person activity on your page. What's the movie about? Is it based of one of the games or are you trying to be more original?

wow, another car crash. That just seems to be the only way in Silent Hill nowadays.

I've never seen "Get on a Subway, wake up in Otherworld version of Subway in Silent Hill". Not saying Car Crash is bad, but it's about as common as the Hospital now. But whatever, your movie. I hope it'll get done soon.

I think you misunderstood  . The plot clearly says that he decides to travel to Silent Hill AFTER the car crash which happens in a different place.

It's still a car crash (SH, SH:SM) which results in memory loss (SH2, SH:O, SH:H) and an errant trip to Silent Hill (SH3).

Just sayin'.

BUT! The amount of time after the car crash is weeks or months later. It indirectly leads him to Silent Hill because he once lived there.

The difference is that he KNOWS he has amnesia, unlike James, Alex and Travis who had repressed memories. That's why decides to travel back because Silent Hill was where he grew up.

Also Chauncey your idea is a really good one, but it's kinda hard for me it happen (Unless i can close the entire subway station for 1 day!)

Just so you know, i haven't completed Shattered Memories yet, so please don't spoil me :P

Another thing i would like to add. You don't see the car crash happen and there are no hospitals...

Sounds a lot like Fatal Frame 4, with Ruka losing her memories and going back to Rougetsu Island for her memories...

Anyways, this is a very great idea! Finally, a person who actually knows they have amnesia.

I've never heard of Fatal Frame before, but yup, that's how it goes; he's coming back in hope of recovering his memories.

There seems to be a nearly-ubiquitous reliance upon memory-impaired protagonists when it comes to fan-made Silent Hill works.

This isn't to say that you can't make it interesting, but the concept is almost a clichè by this point.

I don't fully agree with you when you say that fan works keep using this concept, because most of the Silent Hill games feature memory-impaired protagonists (Except Harry and Henry), so it's not just fan works, but more or less the official releases that keep having this concept. Remember, fan works are not canonnical . I would understand people being annoyed with this decision but it's not official nor do you have to pay for it.

That being said, i do agree that it's becoming a cliche, but i like this idea really much and besides it's quite hard to add something new to this franchise which in my opinion is getting tired. Also, i want to add to the protagonists personality so he doesn't end up being like Henry Townshend who we barely know anything about except that he's locked in his room and barely speaks to anyone through the game.

I'm gonna let you guys in on a secret. There will be something different that hasn't really been seen the games so far (unless it has happened in SH:SM which i'm still trying to complete), but i won't reveal what it is, you'll have to wait and see what happens in the film.

To tibbar: I will but not yet. I'm still revising alot of the tracks and i'm not the only one composing it, so there's still plenty to come (not all will be used in the film).

I've added some more info on the front page as well and i'll have a short reel of footage uploaded at some point...

I used Winamp back then, but i always thought i was so annoying to use when it comes to playlists. Besides, i need to use Itunes for my ipod and iphone.

Regarding the bloatware, easy to remove, problem solved.

iTunes, I dislike that myself, only wish I didn't have to use it to put music on my iPod. Laggy as hell on Vista too, which I also need to get rid of. Winamp Pro all the way.

Anyway on topic: I think this sounds like a good project and could turn out very well! Yeah it's got a few things in the story that are similar to what has been done before in the games, but if it's done well then I think it'll turn out great. I shall be keeping an eye on this!

You guys know there's like a million alternatives for iTunes that sync with Apple crap. Or you could just save the money and get a normal MP3 Player, considering they're more functional and work by themselves.

Okay but no sorry no more off-topic
