Regardless of how I feel, I don't really think they will remake it.

It seems unlikely that there will be another "Restless Dreams" for any of the other games. (You know, a reissued-with-additional-stuff version)

If they did remake it, I wonder what it would have? More accolades. Sweeeeet.

If any game deserves to be remade, and I say this without sarcasm or malice, it's SH4. The story's pretty good, but the game is very subpar. Fix the game, mix up the story a little for veteran players, and I'd be more than pleased to acknowledge it as one of the better series installments.

I would rather resources be spent on newer titles, personally.

That or if they were to create some sort of collection for the ps3 like they did with the god of war series. I would certainly be all for a 720p collection of the ps2 titles. I think origins works alright for what it was intended, and I really didn't care enough for it to want to see it get extra attention.

0rigins already started as a remake, then in mid-production the game was handed off to another team and the story was changed. It was supposed to be an update of SH1. W/ this in mind, no. I don't think we need a remake of 0rigins. I'd rather have the time, energy and creativity spent on something different.

The storyline never interested me all that much anyway.

The problems caused by Origins as a rushed product are so deep into the fabric of the game that they'd need to basically totally remake the game. Plot, gameplay, really everything. Besides, the game already got a graphical port, and Climax seem like they want to sweep it under the rug. I say let them.

iirc that developer guy that usually comes on here said by the time Climax UK had got hold of it that Konami had signed off the cut scences and story so as Aura says was way to far gone for them to make a massive impression on it.

I found game to be bar the few problems but I agree if any game needs to be re-done its the room I mean how good was its original trailor

Some things in this game probably would be better if it were changed up, but like the others are saying, energy spent on a new game would be best.

SH:O was fine. Leave it be.

SH4 is the one that needs re-doing.

And the horrible voice acting.

And the tediousness of the levels.

Etc, etc. :)

The storyline of four was good, but that's about it lol. A re-make of that game might would be nice, but again energy spent on a new game would be better.

I agree with ya here on all of that, although for me the game gets easier each playthrough mainly just because I know where everything is and I know how to fight the enemies better... The only thing that stays the same is how long it takes me :x

I've played the game twice and I've only got two endings, 21 Sacraments and Eileen's Death... I can never save Eileen.
