Maybe this is old news but these tracks are now available for download ripped straight from the Wii and PSP versions and I'll be giving the link here if I get authorized to do so. Here's the track list though.

I just listened to the Wii version of the rip and . . . I'm speechless. Well, mostly.
How shamefully disappointing. There's almost nothing new between the in-game rips and the soundtrack itself—only stripped-down versions of the same songs, in the same order. Even the ripped track "Dr. K (Unused)" was used . . . in Silent Hill: Origins' soundtrack, titled "Murder Song 'S'." The only songs not on the soundtrack are "Menu Theme" and "Tookie's Theme." Every other song is a somehow more boring version of the original soundtrack version.
Shameful.

Well, if you wanted to put a positive spin on it, you could just say they did a good job giving us a pretty definitive soundtrack at preorder. Right? Right? : (
It's a shame that the multiple layers from the chase sequences aren't apparent, only the layer when you are fully surrounded by Raw Shocks
EDIT: multiple layers are only on Wii-version. Especially "House Of Leaves" on Wii-version has many, many layers (endless room, up-side down rooms, strange labyrinth, tv rooms, and then at least 3 layers in chase) and yet, theres one song

House of Leaves? For some reason I figured that would have inspired Silent Hill the Room.
I want to listen, but can't find any links. I know international copyright is weird (how Fungo get's away with it), and that domestic copyrights are strict. Was Shattered Memories a western title?
Goodbye Silent HIll!
(Please Mr. Admin, banish me)
Shattered Memories was developed by a western studio, but it's still under Konami's umbrella. I'm not sure how the specifics of ownership work in regards to the songs.
If you just want to listen I'm sure you could find them on youtube.

I wish the layers were more clear. About half of this is just taking up space on my hard drive like a needlessy renamed copy. I love the music from the games, and I am compelled to own it all, but...
You'll be missed. You were missed. I am missing you.
I'm pretty happy with the actual soundtrack, although I'm confused as to what the differences are between the Wii and PSP versions. I have played the Wii and PS2 versions of the game and I was pretty sure the music was the same, but it looks like the PSP version got it's own rip? Was the music at all different in that version of the game? Why two rips?

I thiiiiiiink that the PSP version has tracks layered one on top of the other, whereas the Wii version has them separate. Don't quote me on that, though.
