Re: Soundtrack

It's not on the official soundtrack. In my recording, I titled it "Your mariachi is fucked."

My version of the recording of the song. What the fuck are you talking about?

However, I did forget it was on the soundtrack itself, as "Don't Abuse Me."

I'm surprised no one asked about this track. It's definitely in my top ten. But I guess it wasn't released considering the first game had so many tracks that wouldn't fit in a CD. But this track is so freaking great I can't see why it was overlooked. :(

Anyway, here's the one I'm looking for, the ending track of SH1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uqrnjH_fSA

Does it have a name?

Was the Acceptance Instrumental that plays during the intro of Shattered Memories never released? If it wasn't, I'm really surprised, to say the least. :x This is one song I would actually prefer a million times better without vocals. I love Mary and all, but this is a song I think was made to be an instrumental. All I could find in youtube was fanmade material, nothing official. Perhaps anyone can help me find a fanmade one that atleast resembles the official (unreleased) instrumental the most? 'Cause I surely can't find one.

Does the track "Remodeling" from SH4 actually appear in-game? If so, when & where? If not, why not!?
I can't seem to recall hearing it anywhere. I've only beaten The Room once however...

"Remodeling" is not. It was originally released on the official SILENT HILL 3 Web site as a gift to fans, and then later included on SILENT HILL 4: THE ROOM's soundtrack.

Thank you Adversary.
I find it as a particularly enjoyable track.
It's in my mind as I type this.

Officially, it has no title, and does not exist as part of any released soundtrack.

Unofficially, it goes by the name of Deeply Disturbed.

Hi. I'm new here, obviously, but wanted to ask about is if anyone had compiled a list of the licensed music used in Silent Hill: Downpour. You know, the songs heard over the radio and such. The credits list nothing but the Jonathan Davis song. If there hasn't been, I figure this is as good a place as any to start one. Here's what I have so far:

"Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen" Louis Armstrong
"Off the Road" Anna Ternheim
"Words of Love" Anna Ternheim

It's so weird how "Stalking For Dinner" & "The Downpour" from SH:D sound identical at times.
Is there a reason for this? Maybe Dan got lazy...

Does anyone happen to know the chord progression being played on "Betrayal"? I can't quite figure it out, with all the effects on the choir.

I think it's Dm, C, Am, Dm, but I'm not entirely sure.

Thanks!

Dm, C, Am sounds correct. Not sure about the final chord.

Thanks for the reply!

Yeah, the last chord is the one I'm really having trouble with. At first, I thought it sounded like an inverted Dm (A D F). But now, I think it's B flat Major (Bb D F). That sounds a bit closer.

I thought Bflat, too, just don't have a keyboard here to easily double check it. "Betrayal" on acoustic doesn't exactly make sense. . . .

This has been driving me crazy for a while. I hope this is the right thread in which to ask about this.

There is a song that plays on one of the radios in Downpour, unofficially (?) called "Heaven Won't Hold It Against You". It plays in the office for the Devil's Pit area,

after you've taken the sky tram and before you enter the mines.
I have searched for an artist, but I can't find anything.

Does anyone happen to know who wrote/performed this song? Did Daniel Licht himself write it? Does it show up in the game credits and I missed it?

From what I recall Daniel Licht wrote and performed the song himself....but I'm not entirely sure so I don't mind being corrected.
