The Order
I've only played Silent Hill 2, Seeing as how I can't afford a PS2 to play the other SH Games. But I'm curious, I just read that 'The Order' is in all of the games, Or so I read. But In all the many hours I've played and looked up on "SH2 Meanings" and what not. I haven't discovered any relevance to Silent Hill 2 and The Order. Can anyone tell me what influence The Order has in Silent Hill 2? I'm really curious about this God and Order.

Re: The Order
The Order is not represented in the game, nor is it ever directly referenced. There are a handful of occult references and items, some of which were later retconned into the local religious dogma.
The Order really is not relevant to Silent Hill 2 at all, and even the occult is only of marginal importance.

Re: The Order
I'm guessing Silent Hill 3 revolved more around the occult then 1 and 2?alone in the town wrote:The Order is not represented in the game, nor is it ever directly referenced. There are a handful of occult references and items, some of which were later retconned into the local religious dogma.

You're welcome.
Now, do me a favor in return and resize your avatar to 100x100. You have to be a subscriber to enjoy the amazing benefit of a 150x150 avatar.
Or, of course, you can also subscribe if you like!

You'd rather delete your account than resize your avatar? O_o

Re: The Order
No Rainbow Dash, what costs isn't your account, it's the subscription, which allows you to have the avatar as big as yours, so, if you're not subscribed, you can't have it that big. You can reduce it's size and keep being a normal member without subscribing. You don't have to delete your account.

Er, yeah, what they all said. You can stay for free as long as you like, many people do.
It's just that, 150^2 avatars are perks for paid subscribers.

Re: The Order
Exactly, SH2 and I guess Shattered Memories were only games which had no relations to the Order whatsoever.
Now come on mate, a PS2 is cheaper as hell nowadays.
@Alone:
How the hell did he get a bloody 150x150 avatar without being a subscriber in the first place?

^Because our avatar restriction is set to 150x150px for everyone. We assume that people would read the rules and know that only Cult Subscribers can have avatars of 150x150px and that regular members get a max of 100x100px.

Isn't the Virun Vii Crest in Lakeside? It's been a while since I played SH2 but I seem to recall it showing up at some point.alone in the town wrote:The Order is not represented in the game, nor is it ever directly referenced. Re: The Order
It is, but I've thought of it as just a shout-out since it bears no significance to any event in the first game.

Re: The Order
There's a thread about joining the Cult here, but the information on the first page is outdated. The SH cash incentive is no longer a part of the upgraded format, and I don't think it allows you to subscribe from the user control panel. Send Vixx a PM and I'm sure she'll be able to hook you up.NemesisFY wrote:By the way how do I subscribe?
