BOM-Monster's design

Post by 0uiled »

Anyone else notice that some of the monsters have a different design than original game appearance?
I think it's interesting that the artist slightly altered their design or I could be wrong and it just the artist's style.

Anyways here is the only example that's out.
Here is the Air Screamer and Grey Child.
The Air Screamer really has a different design, more monster less dinosaur.
The grey Child is practically the same except it has skin fold or crease that connect to the arm and chest.

Because of these I wonder how will the other monsters will appear, so what do you guy's think?
Silent Hill is like a living thing and the fans are it's blood.
Silent Hill will lose blood time to time but it won't die that easily.
It can still make new blood.

I never liked the Air Screamer design in the first place. I much preferred the Otherworld version (Night Flutter I think it's called). Still, this new design isn't all that scary either. The Grey Child redesign on the other hand I can get behind.

Not too shabby. Put on a little rust blood effects and scary growling sounds and you've made me a happy camper!

I think both are an improvement over the originals. The Air Screamer especially.

Oh geez, that's the Air Screamer?
Although I am put off slightly that its not the original pterodactyl-type thing, I find it very scary. Its mouth-parts give me the creeps.

I hope the Grey Child is still short, you know, like a child? ;)

Why did they reuse the old enemy designs?!
Why aren't the old enemy designs the same?!

Yep, same here.

Can't wait to see the new look of all the old monsters and the new ones, too.
