I'm into it. Nice work, other Tom.

When should we be expecting it?

Holy crap, so basically this is a comic about Anne's adventure or something?

Take all my money.

Oh my god.

While I kept saying how much I wanted there to be a DLC for Anne's story, this is close enough! So looking forward to this.

Also, I'd really hope to see a scene with Anne interacting with Howard. When he talked about running into her to Murphy, I always thought it'd be amusing seeing this chill postman dealing with a pissed off CO with an itchy trigger finger.

I hope this is up to the quality of Past Life. Past Life was damn good.

Perhaps this will supplement Downpour's plot enough to make me like it more than I do. The game will still be a buggy mess, though, so who knows.

Well, considering that Tom Waltz was the writer for Past Life and Sinner's Reward, the only two Silent Hill comics that I know of that aren't just about universally despised by the fanbase... I have high hopes for this. Not to mention Waltz co-wrote for Downpour, so if nothing else he definitely has the story down (which is more than what I can say for Scott Ciencin).

It also looks like the art will be by Tristan Huw Jones. After looking him up, I can tell already that his style is improvement from the mess that makes up most of the comics. Long as they stay away from Nick Stakal and/or Shaun Thomas' utterly hideous styles, I'll be a happy camper.

I think it might be good we have a new artist. Menton3's style was extremely well-done and AMAZING with Past Life, but it wouldn't translate well to a modern SH like Downpour.

I hope the art is good.

I have a feeling Waltz's storytelling style fits the written word far better than a medium like video games. I found Downpour's plot to feel a little undercooked, but absolutely loved Past Life and liked Sinner's Reward very much.

So, despite my grumpy attitude towards Downpour, I will presume this will be pretty great. Whatever happens, it will wash the foul taste Revelation has left in my mouth as this franchise's most recent product.

I've universally liked everything that came out AFTER Homecoming. It's a pretty good period for me to be an SH fan. Since Past Life and Sinner's Reward were basically like bundles of paper dipped in sheer liquid QUALITY, this will probably be the same.

My only complaint about Past Life in retrospect is it seemed to be building towards something to be followed up on in Downpour. Nothing from Past Life besides Howard reappeared in Downpour.

I honestly don't think it was intended that way, but I can see where one would think that.

On the other hand though, I'm sort of glad about that. It'd really suck for people to play through Downpour, and have a major plot element be "Ha ha, it turns out to be a follow up on this relatively obscure comic book! What do you mean you didn't read it?"
