Has there been any news on this? Silent Hill Revelation's soundtrack is supposed to be given a physical release in March (though for some reason retailers have taken that item off their websites , hope that doesn't mean it got cancelled).
What's his email address? I was actually wondering whether I should email the distributor of the film's soundtrack actually as well, would that be Sony?
I'm still waiting on a reply, but as we're on the topic of the Silent Hill film soundtrack, I have a question. I heard that many of the songs in the film are remixed versions of the game songs; which of the Silent Hill songs are remixed? I'm considering buying the Silent Hill 3 game album from iTunes; if there are remixed versions of those songs then I might buy that album and the film album with those remixed songs. However, if they're the same between both game and film albums, then I might not purchase the game album.
One is clockwork little happiness. Some were from unreleased tracks in Silent hill 3 that got remixed. Leonard's battle them and one that plays in the Hilltop room full of enemies. Which is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKF-ssqKAXQ
They all sound different and very cenimatic. Only a few are from Sh3 the rest are new and its usually 2 songs in one track.
So basically, the Silent Hill 3 album does contain versions of songs that the Silent Hill film soundtrack wouldn't have? If I bought both albums (assuming the film soundtrack does eventually get released), I would have 2 versions of these songs; original and remixed, rather than duplicates?
The SHR soundtrack has already been given a physical release according to Lakeshore Records, however it isn't even available via Amazon yet. About the 1st film, Jeff told me recently that silence means no news, meaning nothing interesting yet.
