Towards the end of April, there was an incident of "Bandwidth Exceeded." I was curious about how that happened, what with the posting rate seeming so much lower than before.

Unless, that is, there's something I'm not understanding about how bandwidth is eaten up.

Bandwidth isn't a matter of posting rate; it's to do with the number of visitors and page views. So whilst posting rates might have dropped, the number of monthly visits/views we have hasn't changed at all.

I was also quite surprised to see that one coming. Anyway, good that it's back on track again.
