This thread started the community of sample finding. There are so many other threads of this on other forums now. Silent Hill Heaven has a great and unique community that I'm STILL glad to be a part of. (and thank again for a second chance after many years ago.) :D

PS: I think this good history for your site.

"L 085 013" is used in the Results theme!! Great finds guys. Also look out for shorter cuts he may have sampled - the other hits in that track may be in the same library.

EDIT 2019-11-24: Speaking of Usagi - I think I found something by total accident.

Silent Hill: Lost Memories
Track: Usagi
Time: 1:12
Library: AMG: Underfire Volume 1 (REX)
Sample: first CDDA track, sample 2

Credits to TechnoMysterio once again, for this one:

https://www.sounddogs.com/sound-effects ... t-10131888

It may have been recycled from someplace else, but that's the sample in Lurking in the Fog.

What the hell? Is that sample real or a rip? Sounds a bit low quality. Ive been looking for that one but...

It's only a preview, hence the low quality (see upper right of audio player). SoundDogs is an old site and the sample pre-dates SH2 (you can find the sample name in this archived SFX listing from 1997), so they probably did not rip it. At least not from SH2. SoundDogs is also a subsidiary of Sound Ideas, so it's possible it came from one of their libraries.

Can someone post the promise sample again? I can't find it anywhere and as it's probably one of my favorite SH tracks, I want to know if it was original

An user called "Agustin Mattioli" have reported me that he found the sample that sounds when you press back (circle button) when you go back to the main menu of Silent Hill 2 come from the Zero-G library "Tremors Drum and Bass", the sample is called "Eightball Riff".
However I don't have this library so I can't confirm.

Hmm I have (some version) of Tremor, but it doesn't have a sample with that name. I don't think my version is complete. The only thing from there that I recognize is THIS pad from Null Moon. It's just a slightly different version of the "Wah Pad" sample from Jungle Warfare Vol. 3.

He's saying that he's glad he got it before people starting trying to sell it for such absurd amounts.

It's funny that he specifically mentions Silent Hill in the listing. He probably found out about it from this thread. lol

Not sure if it's of any interest to anyone here, but there's a demo CD including some stuff from d-Day Megaton Bomb (which has some contributions from Jason Jones, creator of Titanium Rhythms) here:
