If this is a duplicate thread, then I apologize. I couldn't find any posts regarding this. Anyway, there's a NES remake of Silent Hill 2 that I thought you guys would get a kick out of. Obviously it can't duplicate experiencing the game for the first time, but this feels fresh, and nostalgia alone makes it worth playing. Link below:

Sorry, I meant to say it uses NES-style graphics. It's for PC and Mac.

Damn, it's only an effing DEMO. It's not finished yet. Damn! You enter the apartment building and game over...
But still, this is VERY good. The graphics are nice, retro-wise. I especially like the fog effect. The sounds are good too, apart from the hero's footsteps that sound like a horse, if you ask me. The battles are also harder than the battles of SH2, mainly because the hero's movement is somewhat awkward.
All in all, a very promising game. I'm looking forward to playing it when it's complete!

^I don't think that NES games were 20MBs big :P. But still, I like retro games, I like SH2, so Soundless Mountain 2 is a winner for me. I just can't wait to play the finished version!

^

Just make some huge cart that stuck out of the system. It would have been worth it.

I havent played it but I still looks amazing. I love how they didn't use all the names and such.. just variations or other references. xD
