Anybody catch Ernest's portrait in the Historical Society? Looks awful familiar doesn't it?

That's not Ernest. That's the old Brookhaven Director, from when the 19th Century, when the building was constructed.

But... who does it look like?

Nope, not Ernest. But I have to go with Adversary on this - who do you think it resembles?

Huh? There´s a pic of Ernest in the game? It´s definently not in the Silent Hill Historical Society...

Ah...I forgot that Brookhaven was around back then...I thought the picture looked remarkably like James. Which made me think that if the picture was in fact Ernest...it coulda meant that he and James were actually the same (or the creators got lazy) or something to that effect...but now I'm not so sure.

He looked blonde to me, but I did see a little 'stache there.

Lmao.

I think it actually says that when you examine it... Most of the pictures in the Historical Society say what they are.

I know...that's why I thought it was Ernest cuz it said it was the director of the Brookhaven Hospital. It didn't specify at what point in time and I forgot that Brookhaven was built in the time of the civil war.

I may have made a little error, but I'm not a fucking retard...thanks.

Anyway, who is that Ernest? Why doesn't he wanna show Maria his face? He seems to know a lot of things happenning outside, but he can't leave the house?

Because he's
dead. He's communicating with Maria because he's a ghost, unable to leave his mansion,
which is why she has to get the White Chrism for him.
