Post subject: The offical James Sunderland thread

I found a forum a long time ago, that had a couple of interesting theory's on what James does in the real world. I was wondering if anyone on here had a clue as to what kind of Job James has before he goes to Silent Hill.

Also if possible , I would like to add a second topic to this thread. I was wondering if James died in the canon story line. There was a interesting note in the strategy guide that said there was a event in Silent Hill 4 , that pointed out the Fate of James in Silent Hill 2. I looked everywhere but couldn't find this event. Did James meet his end in Silent Hill 2 ? Or is he living a happy life with Laura somewhere in Pleasant River ?

I'm sorry if there is a thread on this subject somewhere. All I ask for is a link, so I can ask this question somewhere else.

According to this, found in Lost Memories, he is a clerk.

There are threads about pretty much all of this, I think. When in doubt, use the search function up the top of the page, between the PM link and the FAQ link.

James' fate is fairly ambiguous. Popular belief seems to swing towards the Leave Ending, but there are also a lot of interesting arguments for the Rebirth Ending, and many people believe in the In Water one.

(Link edited out)

Damn I must of missed out on all of that important information. I would love to see a link to that thread. The one you posted says page can't be displayed.

I love that page godspiel posted though. That really helps alot. I never pictured James as a regular store clerk . So did he work at a 7 eleven ? LOL !

Thanks for all of the information guys.

Goodnight didn't point you to any thread. She was trying to say that you can use the Search function in order to find threads in the several areas of this forum.

You can find the Search link above your Dashboard area.

I'd guess James worked at a gun store. Makes sense to me...

Never did like the term "clerk." He just worked in an office.

Sorry, I didn't realise the link didn't work. Scarlet was exactly right - I was just trying to point out the usefulness of the search function.

I agree with Burning Man. The term 'clerk' is misleading... I don't think he worked as a shop assistant, but rather as an office clerk.

Another thing please don't label things "Official" as there is nothing official about it.

Quote:
-"Kanri," the Japanese name for the "mandarin" creature, provides some context
as to what the creature's name implies. The word mandarin can be used to
refer to a public official in the Chinese Empire, and "kanri" means "government
official" or "clerk." (The word for clerk in James' profile ("jimuin") doesn't
have the connotation of being a government employee or official though, so I'm
not sure whether there's an intended correlation between the two or not.)

Sorry .

I didn't think the word offical would piss anyone off.

eh, I can assume Burning Man knows a thing or two about the language, since, from what I understand, he speaks it and all.

And you need to resize your signature, Xuchil. It's too large - 580x100 is our limits.

Don't worry about it, gabrielzero. The title was a bit misleading, that's all. No harm done.

It would be interesting to know whether or not the game designers put anything into the game, no matter how small, that represents his anger towards work. Maybe one of the creatures should have been an evil filing cabinet?

Yeah, when a filling cabinet bites your fingers, it really hurts, man. :x

or am I just slow?
